Senior Class Information

May 21st- MANDATORY - Senior Class Meeting-9:20 a.m. in the Theater
May 28th- Senior Awards Assembly (8:45-10:15 a.m.; WHS Main Gym) followed by block party (1:25-1:55 p.m.) [bell schedule is attached]
May 29th- Senior Check Out, Grad Parade and Moving Up Assembly; we will be on the 40-minute end of day assembly bell schedule (more details on this below; bell schedule is attached)
May 30th- Prom; 7:00-10:00 p.m. - Historic 1625 - 1625 S Tacoma Way "Once Upon a Prom"
June 2nd-Last day to complete academic tasks (by 2:00 p.m.)
June 5th-MANDATORY- Graduation Rehearsal-11:00 a.m.-Washington State Fairgrounds Event Center
June 6th-Graduation Ceremony-1:30 p.m.; Washington State Fairgrounds Event Center [ticket information is below]
June 16th-Diploma pick up begins during normal office hours 6:30-2:30 - Diplomas are not mailed home
        ***Running Start diplomas will be available starting July 6th (delayed due to pending grades from colleges)

Disability Seating at Graduation:
Please contact Annie Jaquez in the WHS Office-253-298-4705-up to three people are allowed to accompany ADA guests.   

Graduation Ticket Information:
Seniors will be provided with six free tickets at rehearsal.  
Additional tickets are $7 each and can be purchased in advance at the WHS Main Office or at the Gold Gate the day of the ceremony.  Cash is the preferred payment method at the gate, but electronic payments will be accepted as well through GoFAN.  Please note that there is an additional fee when purchasing electronic tickets.

***Please note:  Balloons, posters, signage, noise makers, etc. are NOT permitted and will be confiscated. Families need to leave these items in their car, or they will be disposed of.

Guest Entry and Exit, Parking and Gate Information
Guests will enter the Gold gate on the corner of 9th Ave SW and S Meridian.
Guests will exit through the Red gate.
We will have unexclusive use of the Gold and Red parking lots
Gates will open one hour prior to the ceremony (12:30 p.m.)
